Have I ever mentioned how graceful I am?

Since Disa requested more information about the guy who knew a song about a chicken, I decided to go ahead and oblige. It turns out I'm a total sucker for a guy in jeans and a white t-shirt, too. Now let me tell you WHY he had on an undershirt. The reason is, when you're scrubbing the daylights out of your car carpeting because of an unfortunate accident...or two...or three...and you live in Texas where it's still in the low 80s during late November, two shirts might be one layer too many.

In case you were wondering if there's anything better looking than a guy in jeans and a white t-shirt, let me just tell you that there is: it's a guy in jeans and a white t-shirt who is laughing his boohonkus off at the fact that you've flooded the floorboard of his practically new car with an entire cup of chocolate syrup and milk filled coffee.

I don't know a whole lot about a whole lot, but I'm thinking there's p
robably something to be said for a guy who finds that particular scenario hilarious instead of disastrous, especially considering I practically blinded him for life earlier that very same day by sticking my thumb into his eye. And, in case you're wondering if eyeballs are as wet and gooshy as they seem like they'd be, they are.

Here's the sign I was stopping to take a picture of when I seemed to suddenly decide that practically blinding a guy was not sufficient to reveal his true character and that I should cover as much of his car in liquid as possible. Did I mention that I also tossed a water bottle with a loose lid into the back seat?

I thought it was a good sign, even though we were going the other way.

Happy Thanksgiving! Hoping you're all enjoying dead bird today! This one's for you, Saradevil:

Well, I can't find an Alice's Restaurant that can be embedded in its entirety, but at least here's a link!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Glad to know dude is a good sport. I've been poked in the eye once or twice, not a pleasant feeling. Never actually done it to anyone else but I think that may be a good thing.

Never washed a car but I have put on a white t and blue jeans, classic.

That guy is a KEEPER! Sculpted shoulders, the ability to LAUGH HIS BOOHONKUS off at spilled chocolate syrup (flavored with a little bit of coffee and milk) in his practically new car, and a freakin' library card???!!!

Nice boohonkus, too. If that's what he's showing while shampooing out the chocolate syrup. Not that it's all about shoulders and boohonkusesesess. Or whatever the plural is. He has a sense of humor and doesn't he know songs about chickens????

I'm not graceful either!!

Oh, I have an alternative to the jeans and white tee shirt (which can be a right tasty look on a man) - cargo pants (vaguely military looking) and a tight black tank. Add sculpted shoulders. Tight boohonkus. Flat stomach. Oh. My. Good. Ness. And he was a librarian. He didn't have just one library card. He had many.

Oh, cute blog "remodel"!! Seems like everyone (Derek, UT) is updating their site!

Thanks for the Thanksgiving wishes Jeff & Noelia & Sabrina & Roger & Alf & UT & Ms.Q & Bastet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope you guys (except Noelia) had nice ones yesterday too! And Noelia, hope you had a nice thanksgiving whenever Canadian thanksgiving was.

And thanks Roger & Ms.Q on the remodel compliment! I finally got brave enough to swap over to the "new" blogger (Ok, I think it was actually new almost a year ago now!). It's not entirely what I wanted and there are a limited amount of colors, but at least I got to try making one of those header things. I think I'm even going to have to change that though, because the green and orange at the bottom go together well, but the header is a little jolting.

UT - You know, it took me forever and a half to figure out guy from gal over there at your blog, but I'm going to go out on a limb & say you probably looked great in the jeans & tee! :-) :-) :-) And WHAT?!?!?! You never washed a car?!?!?!?!?!? Do you need me to come spill entire cups of coffee somewhere????? KIDDING!!!! As for the eye poking, I don't recommend it AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!! In fact, I recommend car washing over eye poking any ole' time you're up for trying something new. :-) :-) :-) :-)

Ms.Q - I never noticed about black tank tops. I'll have to think about that one. I don't usually care for a tank top on a guy...actually that's MY preferred top for ME! But maybe black would be different. And yeah, the guy does know a song about a chicken I will say that for him!!!! :-) :-) :-) Actually, he knows a couple more songs about chickens since becoming acquainted with ***me***! Stick with me! I know all the best songs about chickens...and whiskey of course... :-) :-) :-)

Hey, if he's cleaning out your car, he must be a keeper! And that sign is a classic. Every bit worth a sharp poke in the eye to get that photo! Hope your Turkey Day was a good one, too! jp

Although, if you tuck in your shirt you have to wear a belt. Hey, I didn't make this stuff up--it's probably in the bible somewhere. Good hair, though.

Good luck. I hope everything works out and I hope you're having a great time figuring it out. And happy thanksgiving. And cool new design!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ms. Q, having more than one library card is like having more than one toothpick in your mouth. One is cool. More than one is weird.

Jill: I'm not into a white tank top on a guy, not unless it's just used as undershirt, not as a "look" the look is too...um doesn't have a good association.

PITS: Hey, the guy was a librarian!! ;-D

I know a few more people than The Librarian who have more than one library card. Most cities/counties have their own system so could have more than one card (work in city A, live in city B) plus we haven't even mentioned specialty libraries (university, law, historical...)

Thanks JP - I did have a good one!

People - Well now I'm trying to remember what shirt he had on BEFORE I decided to bring the bayou through the back seat of his car...maybe it was one of those sweater type shirts that goes over the belt loops anyway. Is there any kind of ruling on that in the Bible? I *told* him his hair looked good that day & I don't think he believed me, so thanks for backing me up on that one.

I did used to have two library cards, but that was because I worked in one county and had moved to another, so I used both libraries for a little while. But then I only claim to be weird, not cool. :-) :-) :-)

Ms.Q - Yeah, don't they call the white one a wife beater? I used to date a guy who wore like a dark cornflower blue one now & then & it did show off his arms nicely and everything but...*shrug shrug*. I could take it or leave it. I'd have to see a black one I guess to decide.

Happy Thanksgiving weekend Jill!
Love the new blog look :)

Yeah, I've heard "wife beater" used for men who wear the white tank as a shirt (not as an undershirt!)

When it comes to the black tank and sculpted shoulders, it's the whole SWAT/camo/SEAL thing which harkens to our prior "conversations" on the warrior-poet thing.

But white tee and jeans - classic! James Dean and all. This isn't the best example but: http://www.uppercut.se/images/products/UPCAU4150C00_large_1.jpg

Actually, it does nothing for me at all since it looks like the model shaves and waxes his entire body.

Thanks Kim & Curlie Glamor Girlie!!!!!

Ms.Q - Maybe that guy just doesn't have that much hair? I think the whole hair thing doesn't bother me too much one way or the other. I've heard women state strong opinions about hair on guys. I think I'm usually fairly neutral about it though.

The tank - yeah, still kind of hard to tell from that picture - sort of need head & legs to be able to tell I think! I'm getting it better now though - I didn't realize there was a warrior-poet connection!!!!

There is ALWAYS a warrior-poet connection.

You've just fergotten 'cuz you have your demented sense of humor/chicken song singing connection!

Imagine this: Ms. Q dancing around you (very grade-school) singing (off key): "Jill has a boyfriend, Jill has a boyfriend..."

Then I'd have to start running....

Jill said...

Ms.Q - Oh, you must be right! Starting to actually get used to that "boyfriend" word these days though - guess that's what happens when I lose track of the comments for an entire month!!!!! (oops! Sorry!)
