Again, through the magic of the internet, I'm not even here. I'm visiting at my parents. Here's my baby nephew, isn't he the cutest?!?!?
Here's my boy skiing. I skied too, but luckily there wasn't a picture, because I wore purple snow pants and just missed looking like a giant grape by half of an outfit. My Sweet Pea went back to the hospital, but I didn't even manage a picture this time. It was asthma, and don't worry - she's doing well.
In lieu of an asthma picture, I offer these people we saw in Houston right before we left, bundled nice and warm against the cold:It was in the high 50s/low 60s mind you.
I also have this one sign I saw while skating last week:I mean, I try NEVER to leave money on shelves. But there wasn't even a shelf. There were some cubby type things nearby, but no shelf. So that makes it way easier to comply.
Have a great New Year everyone!!!!!

Glad your daughter is ok. That is scary.
I find it kind of funny that you say snow skied. When anyone mentions skiing here it is just assumed that it is on snow, lol.
But we do specify water skiing LOL.
How do you not get cupcakes. They are bite sized cakes, just pop them in you mouth..no mess, teehee.
Love that sign - too funny! Who would leave money on a shelf!! Glad your daughter is ok!
Sounds like a very busy visit to Mom & Dad's. Glad your daughter is doing okay and that your son had the opportunity to go skiing (bummer we didn't get to see a picture of you - the 1/2 grape is funny).
Looks like you are having a good time. Glad your daughters ok.
Tracy - I thought about that. I remembered that you lived somewhere very cold & probably didn't need the specification. But in Texas, I'm just used to it. Cupcakes...I dunno. I totally get bite sized brownies! But I just don't really understand cake either, but the popularity and facination with cupcakes just totally escapes me.
Reds - I wondered that too. Especially in the fourth biggest city in the U.S. People probably wouldn't even leave their SOCKS on a shelf!
Nicki - I looked really funny especially since the top was an army jacket. It was SO fun though! Even my baby nephew skied!
Thanks Yolanda!
I would have liked to see the giant grape picture. And isn't leaving money on the shelf something to do with prostitution or was that money on the dresser? Whatever. I would like to be snow skiing now. It is going to be 41C and windy here today. There is a 'catastrophic fire danger' warning :-(
Happy New Year on that note.
I guess that's what they mean by shelfless giving :D
Bahahahaha your silly and I love you for that! Happy New Year to you and your family! :)
Arizaphale - That's hot I guess! At least when I searched to find out what that would be around in Fahrenheit, I kept coming up with body temps - fever and swine flu answers, so...sounds miserable!!!! I'm not sure on the prostitutes. If that's what it's for, it's going to be bad for business, because there wasn't a shelf...
:-) :-) :-)
SJ - Guess so! :-)
Thanks Roger - happy new year!!!!!
Oh he IS adorable!!!!
Glad your daughter is ok! Whew!
Happy New Year, and thank you so much for the bloggy visits over the past year! xoxox
Glad she's all better. Love the crystal clear message. BTW...made you new blog of the day.
Thanks Marlene!
Thanks for that new blog of the day thing Copyboy! I think it's because I know where to get a great price on pork blood, right? :-)
