Mom Babble recently asked some of their writers what their goals were as bloggers. This blog has been around since 2006, so it was a pretty easy question for me.
Even though I've gotten distracted fairly regularly by pretty food, giveaways, and pictures (hide your eyes Ernesto! Oxford comma alert!) I had decided early on that if I was going to keep a blog, it would give people a laugh.
Some days it can be pretty hard to laugh though, much less worry about whether or not readers (all three of them) are laughing.
So, instead of a picture of roasted almonds or a silly sign, here is a song that has not left my head for a moment, ever since I first heard Cid's of Our Life with Ceol Mor daughter Kitty described as "sparkly".
Cid, I hope you don't mind. I think you won't mind, because you said you wanted Kitty remembered.
As if forgetting were ever an option...
This is a stock photo, for the sole purpose that FB will have something different to pull up than a random something-or-another from my sidebar.

There is nothing, and everything to say about this. If only we could wrap those we love in something that would cushion the pain.
